"It (Las Vegas) exceeded my expectations"
As we have continued to express, Las Vegas is becoming one of the hottest scenes in the United States. This literally seemed to happen in just a matter of months, as residencies began to pop up for some of the absolute biggest DJs in the world. The brand new Marquee nightclub at the Cosmopolitan is most definitely the driving factor in the growth we have witnessed. As it shapes itself into it’s own scene over the next couple of months, Las Vegas will see some pretty incredible talent. A little over a week ago, Steve Angello and Max Vangeli made an incredible appearance at Marquee for some SIZE Matters fun.
Along with Erick Morillo, Chuckie, Roger Sanchez, and Dirty South, the amazingly popular Kaskade has also announced a residency at Marquee. Making his next big appearance this coming weekend on February 12th, Kaskade is really bringing something special to Las Vegas with this residency. In the extremely well-done video below made by Justin Nizer, Kaskade talks about his first experience playing at Marquee on New Years Day and the development of his residency. What a way to start off 2011!

The club itself looks like an absolute mecca for house music lovers. Funktion-One sound, beautiful dancers, CO2 cannons, and some of the world’s biggest and best. If Kaskade is doing a monthly residency, then it should be on your to-do list for 2011.
